History and Support

Quantum Quest was jointly initiated by Michael Walter and Māris Ozols in 2018. In 2018, 2020 and 2021, students from all over the world have already participated to learn about the mathematics behind quantum computers. In 2021, we started a collaboration with the African Institute for Mathematical Sciences to give more students access to Quantum Quest:

We thank the Quantum Software Consortium and the Cluster of Excellence Cyber Security in the Age of Large-Scale Adversaries (CASA) for their support.
